Bad habit is the team we all want get out from it but most of the time we are unable to do so. The reason behind this failure can't be stoned directly to the person who have. Rather we have to understand why can't oneself help them to get out from bad habit. That's why I will try to write down what bad habit is and how to cure that from my point of view. And for further clarification this article is not based on any research paper rather on personal experience.
Well! what is bad habit? The habit that is adductive and pop up sequentially to its host can be one of the best definition about bad habit. Though it not bringing up the overall concept. Bad habit is more dangerous than a single definition. Bad habit can stick with his host for life long and can eventually become the reason behind the persons death.
This may terrifying you but it is as true as steel. Simply take the example of the habit of smoking. Most people can get rid of it. Slowly take their lunge into a state that it can give pure oxygen to it's body.
So, enough for the intro. let's see the how you take out yourself from any kind of bad habit.
To get out of bad habit you need to understand what is the motive behind your bad habit or habits. It may be your lazy life for instant gratification, any kind of bad memory or my be just show others as well as you just enjoy it without any reason.
Well! you just find your root cause behind your bad habit or addiction. Now, you need to write down the reason behind your habit. Don't just raddle up your mind, just write down what comes to your mind. Alright, you need to do another simple thing to do, you need to prove your back story is absurd. And repeatedly write down your new point of view at least 5 times.
So far you got absurd reason behind your bad habit. Now you need to take the action. You can't instantly get rid off your bad habit. If you try to do that it will be frustrating and anxious. To avoid that , you need to increase your good habit gradually that one time your don't have enough time to get busy on your bad one.
One thing you need to keep in mind that discipline makes you to do something good. You will not feel motivated all the time. So, you can't always sit back and wait for motivation.
Bad habit is one kind of habit also. To make sure you are getting out of it gradually you need discipline also . It doesn't go overnight.
Sometimes your progress can be deteriorate. Don't loose your hope. It totally normal. You have to keep up your patience. And stuck to your discipline.
Now have a intermediate knowledge about defending bad habit. But it is not end of your journey. Only knowing will not make your life better. You need to keep the message in your soul. And implement it in your daily life bit by bit.
